I have a 2012 chevy malibu eco, the roads are currently icy. On my way to work i noticed my back passenger tire had a pressure of 20 and then got a SERVICE STABILI TRAK warning and light as well as a warning for SERVICE BRAKE ASSIST and light. Could those warnings be related because of the tires starting condition mixed with the road conditions
Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked your tire pressure? Do you have a tire gauge?
Yes and i put it up to the recommended minimium but havent had a chance to drive it yet
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Malibu yourself? What have you tried so far?
Just putting air in the tire, i have tk work today and dont have time to take it in until wednesday
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
I just wabt to make sure its safe tk drive until wednesday with it being cold, i dont want to be stranded anywhere

Hello, I can get you some help.
You will not end up stranded so that is good.
That system is mostly the abs and traction control systems and will not effect anything other than those systems not working.
The tire being low should have nothing to do with them coming on.

could the icy roads be why they wont turn off

If it is an abs problem, every time you cycle the key off and on the car resets the trouble codes.
So if you shut it off and turn back on and the lights come back on the fault is current.
My guess would be maybe a wheel speed sensor or in the abs unit itself (most common issues on those cars)

Very possible when the abs had to activate due to the roads and something may have gone wrong.
Hopefully they go out for you but if they don't do not hesitate to drive it.
Do you have any more questions? Ill be glad to help.

This sounds like potentially a blown head gasket unfortunately. I would definitely not start or drive the car any longer until having it checked by a mechanic. When this happens, the gasket between the cylinder head and the engine block...

Hi there - I suspect the steering rack may be worn out (https://www.yourmechanic.com/question/hard-turning-steering-wheel), and is binding. This would cause the hard steering you are experiencing, regardless of having a new power steering pump. I would recommend a steering system inspection...
