Q: Car wont start even after new battery and new starter
My car won't start. I replaced the battery and the starter. All it does is click when I turn the key. I can get it started by pushing it and dropping the clutch though. Than it runs and idles perfectly.
My car has 160000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

If you can "bump start" your car, but will not start when you turn the ignition, it’s possible that your root issue is an ignition or starter relay that is damaged. The first thing I’d do is check all of your relays and replace if damaged. If they are good, then it’s likely that you’ve got something wrong with your ignition system that should be inspected and repaired by a professional mechanic.
