Is it a problem to use a blower motor with automatic temperature control in a vehicle that does not have that
Mechanic's Assistant: How many miles are on the car? Have you checked the coolant level?
No I have not my AC was running and then stopped randomly from the research I've done that sounds like the blower motor
Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?
2015 ram 1500
Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Yes I'm fixing it myself and I took out the blower motor and turned on the AC and it did not work however there was a slight noise coming from there beforehand but no air was blowing
Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you?
I want to know which blower motor to buy can't seem to find the same one online

I see what you're saying and all the ones that don't have automatic temperature control look different unless mine was replaced before I bought it and they put in the wrong oneOr from the factory they put the same one in both and maybe the resistor is different or something else that controls the automatic temperatureOr my truck does have some kind of temperature control just not fully automated because the ones that say without temperature control aside for looking different they have a different electric connection too so they won't fit

HI,
It is possible it has a type of automatic temperature control. If you post the vin number, I can see if the build sheet will pull up so I can check

HI,
ok, pulled the build sheet and it doesnt show what type of climate control. I attached the build sheet in case you want to have it for future use.
Best I can tell you is if the one I linked is identical to what is in yours, then go with it as it will fit and plug up. And it has the resistor built in to it. So it covers both the blower motor and resistor
