Q: Car not turning left or right
My car won't turn left or right. It does turn on however.

This is most likely a problem with the electronic steering lock. When you insert the key into the ignition slot the steering wheel should unlock, via an electric motor in the steering column. If this motor malfunctions, the wheel will not unlock and will need to be replaced. Additionally, if the computer does not recognize the ignition key, it will not unlock the steering wheel. It will take a factory level scan tool and a qualified technician like one from YourMechanic to accurately diagnose your turning issue.
