Sometimes it may take a moment for me to respond because I may have to look up information about your concern. I appreciate your patience and will provide responses as soon as possible. P0700 is an informational code that does not indicate a specific issue. When the transmission control module detects a fault and has a fault code set in it, it will send a MIL(malfunction indicator lamp) turn on request of the engine control module. This sets the P0700 in the ECM. This tells the technician that he needs to now scan the transmission control module for separate fault codes, which will tell you the area of concern. Thanks for using Just Answer and letting me help you. I hope I provided what you needed. If you find more help is still needed, let me know by listing out any remaining questions you have on this concern. I hope the remainder of your day is well.
