Hello Rene. Nice to hear from you today! I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I know this can be frustrating. Were you having the fuel gauge issues before the fuel pump was replaced and was it a local shop that replaced the pump for you?

Thank you for holding Rene! There is a technical service bulletin out on this model for the fuel gauge issue. The problem is with the software in the engine computer. To resolve this issue a shop or dealer who would have access to GM programming would need to update the programming in your computer. They will charge around $50 to $75 to program it for you. If for some reason the gauge still does not work properly then this indicates that they either installed the pump incorrectly or the pump fuel level sender is faulty and has to be replaced. This part of the repair should be covered by the repair facility at no charge to you. I recommend having the update performed first to see if that resolves the issue.
