Hello,
Welcome to Just Answer
My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I've been an automotive engineer since 1996 and together we're going to solve this issue.
if there's a knocking coming from inside the engine then do not run it again until some changes have been made as this could be a dry big-end bearing which can fail catastrophically with the rods coming out through the side of the block
I'd say the next step is to use an oil pressure gauge to check how much oil pressure you have as the next step as it should be at least 20 psi on a hot engine at idle speed
however with these noises I'd say you may have to have the sump off to check the bearing condition and possibly replace bearing shells

the knock sounds like it is coming from passenger side. would timing chain be any issue?

the timing chain is at the front of the engine so I don't think its that
also what kind of noise is it ? as a chain is light 'tinkling' rattle that is more pronounced when you remove the oil filler cap and a big-end is more a heavy rythemic 'tok tok tok ' noise from the side and bottom of the engine
