Q: Automatic Twilight Sentinel not working
The Automatic Twilight Sentinel is not working on my car.
The twilight sentinel on your vehicle is composed of a light sensitive photo cell, a module, and the twilight sentinel switch which works in conjunction and parallel to the normal headlamp switch. Since the sentinel portion is not working at all,the module and the switch can both be at fault. A mechanic with access to the appropriate diagnostic information and wiring diagrams should be able to pinpoint which of those two is causing the issue. The system is also tied to the rain sensor on the windshield.
