Possible causes are the switch, the passenger door control module or the power windowmirror motor for extending and folding. The switch sends a signal on computer data lines to the passenger door control module and from there to the power mirror Because the computer data lines send multiple signals from different circuits at once, it would require testing with a scan tool as well as the passenger door control module sending signal to the power mirror motor All you can test yourself if you have a voltmeter is test for 12v on blue wire at power mirror harness connector while operating the switch. If 12v present, then motor inside the mirror is bad and mirror has to be replaced.
