Tom was great, he didn't successfully diagnose the problem but kept up with me through text message updates. He really gave me a good perception of yourmechanic.com. The last mechanic we had "fixed" the problem I requested but my car still didnt start. He promised to check in with us but never did. The opposite of Tom in everyway.

Tom was professional, courteous, and definitely looks out for his customers. In my first experience with Tom, he came over to do an oil change - consequently, around the same time, my battery also died on me (I've had the same battery for roughly 50,000 miles and so it was about time). After changing my oil, Tom was courteous enough to drive me to the nearest AutoZone, where I was able to purchase a new battery to start my car. Tom definitely went above and beyond his duty and I am very appreciative of his outstanding service. Most recently, I requested Tom as my mechanic to change my serpentine belt, my brake rotors, and brake pads. Amazon Garage sent me the wrong Serpentine belt - so Tom made a trip to the nearby O'Reily's to pick up the right belt for me. In addition, Brake Performance sent me the wrong front brake pads. I am still in the midst of working with Brake Performance to correct this issue (not going so well...) and Tom even helped me by drafting a detail e-mail regarding what the issues were with the front brake pads that were sent to me and I was able to forward that to Brake Performance (still awaiting reply). This guy definitely looks out for his customers and he has definitely earned my loyalty and trust.

YourMechanic is worth your trust and money. I've always been skeptical about where to go for oil changes and service because you always hear horror stories about scams. I am happy to report that not only is YourMechanic easy to use and affordable, but the people they employ are the real deal. Tom was our mechanic and he totally rocked. He was completely transparent on the services he performed and all of his recommendations. Even if something was an issue or a problem a rose, he was always honest and dedicated to the end. For that, he has earned my complete trust and future service for both of my vehicles.
