I began working on automobiles when I was 19 years old at a quick lube, washing windows and vacuuming out cars.. I found it fascinating to divulge how an engine operates, and began asking questions of the upper technicians until I became one myself. Moved on to work at the Mazda dealership, which was partnered with a kia/hyundai dealership, and also at Chrysler for a short period of time before moving on to working at a performance shop. did custom fabrication of turbocharger and supercharger plumbing/installation for a while and worked my way up to shop foreman. Was able to train several employees who ended up being very successful in the industry. Had my hands in quite extensive electrical wiring jobs, diagnosing existing problems and also wiring in accessories, but found that i enjoyed wiring quite a bit which eventually turned into my forte. Also worked at United access installing mobility accessories so people with disabilities would be able to operate motor vehicles and conduct themselves behind the wheel as comfortably and safely as possible. To sum it up, if it's got a motor in it, I can fix it - and I enjoy doing so. I look forward to being Your Mechanic!

Stephen called shortly before appointment (:15 AM time to explain he had been able to get all the parts and would be late arriving. He called after noon to state he was on his way and gave me the option to reschedule if the late arrival presented a problem. He arrived about 2:00PM and went right to work. It was a cool day but Stephen was prepared to deal with the situation. It was easy to see the replacement of the timing belt and water pump was not a simple;e project I was capable of completing. The projected completion time was 6 hours however it was not completed until about 11:30PM. I periodically checked on his progress and he worked steadily and methodically despite the declining temperatures after dark. The work was completed professionally and I am very happy with Stephen's work. I must add that Stephen was always very courteous and professional.
