I usually repair my own cars but I was too busy. So, I tried YourMechanic. Alan was professional and well prepared to complete my repair. Unfortunately, he was working on an older model, with limited parts availability, and was unable to complete my repair. He provided an honest assessment of my options and costs to complete repair. Later, I completed repair myself and his advice proved to be 100% accurate and helpful. There was only a fair charge for Alan's time. YourMechanic and Alan were a bargain.

My engine light was still on when I took a drive after Alan left..otherwise I would have given him a 5 star rating. I could immediately tell the difference in my startup, and acceleration. Renewed power..other than the check engine light being on I am very happy. I would like to have it further checked out to see what the problem is, because I was under the assumption that the repairs today would cut the light off..
