This review is about the customer service at YourMechanic which is absolutely TERRIBLE (not Melvin). If the owners and investors in this business new Alex was offering such poor customer service, their heads would be spinning. I don't even know where to start. 1) The Groupon price was not matching up with the price on their website. It was still charging me $43. I called them, no one picked up. No one EVER picks up. They have to call you back. So Alex calls me and reduces the price by $20 - and says the remaining extra $23 is because my car uses extra oil. I never pay extra for this at other shops, but I end up paying 50% more for the extra oil here. Whatever, I guess I can live with that. 2) The mechanic calls me at 2pm and says he is waiting on an oil truck or something. My appointment is at 3pm. I don't hear from him. I call him at 4pm, no answer, I leave a voicemail. I call him again 20 minutes later, he picks up. Says he might be able to come out by 6pm. I call YourMechanic, of course, no answer. Alex calls me back and says this is out of his control. The mechanic finally shows up at 5:52pm. Nearly 3 hours alter. My whole day was wasted scheduling and waiting around. 3) I now find out that the tire rotation can't be done because he doesn't have the proper equipment. Alex calls me back. I coordinate giving my phone to the mechanic so he can explain what happened to Alex. For all of this pain and suffering, Alex offered me... Wait for it... A $5 discount! I paid $23 extra for the oil. I didn't get the tire rotation (worth $20). And the mechanic showed up 3 hours late. This is a terrible service with the worst customer support (YES, YOU ALEX) - Do Not Use Them! I've used Patrick for several years. He's very knowledgeable and professional. We use him for a Ford and Mercedes and he's saved us quite a bit by not having to take our vehicles to a dealership. Also, the convenience of coming to your home/place of work to complete the maintenance is priceless.

Victor did a great job installing a starter on my 74 Mercedes 450SL and installing a transmission filter. Very thorough and didn't charge me for unnecessary parts. Will hire again.
