Lee Senderov is the VP and GM of North America for YourMechanic. She joined the company earlier this year to head the business development team and forge alliances with partner brands.

Hi, Lee! Can you tell us more about what you do at YourMechanic?

I form relationships with partners and oversee sales and business development both nationwide and at a local level. I’m a real people person so I love meeting new people and making connections every day.

How long have you been with the company?

Five months - but it already feels like I’ve been part of the company for years because I was made to feel so welcome when I first arrived. I’m a firm believer that it’s the people who make a company great and everyone at YourMechanic is so friendly and easy to work with.

What’s your background?

I’ve been in marketing and sales at startups across multiple industries - shopping, gaming, CPG, and now auto. I love building and growing businesses - YourMechanic is my seventh startup.

Why did you join YourMechanic?

I joined YourMechanic because I hate going to the repair shop - I’ve actually never had a good experience at one. I used the YourMechanic service when my Acura needed a service and was instantly hooked. I knew I needed to bring this service to the world!

What keeps you motivated?

I’m passionate about YourMechanic and I’m definitely one of our strongest advocates. I know this company is the future of car repair. Not only are we creating an incredible experience for consumers, we are creating an amazing place for technicians to work.

What was your first car?

A Honda Civic.

What’s your dream car?

The gold BMW parked outside our office.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

I love spending time with my family and friends, going wine tasting, cooking, traveling, shopping, and exercising - and pretty much in that order.
