2014 Kia Sportage 81,000 mile service at the convenience of your home or office

I appreciate Matt's ability and knowledge. I understand the company not wanting their mechanics to work on cars that were previously worked on by the customer or another mechanic, but don't see that that is reasonable to expect, cars are likely to not have been worked on prior. The problem that led to this last repair was due to my having crisscrossed two connectors. Very unusual to have connectors in close proximity to each other that are the same and can plugged into each other. But I hat was my fault for doing this. I would recommend any mechanic take the car for a road test to be sure it is working correctly. Despite the obstacles, Matthew was very thorough in his troubleshooting and would recommend him as a mechanic. The company applies restrictions on communicating with their mechanics and I can understand why, but if Matthew and I had been able to be in contact sooner, we could have solved the problem earlier.

James is the best Your Mechanic on this site and you'd be a fool not to have him do a diagnostic inspection on your car. He caught things that other mechanics missed and would've been a time and money-saver if I'd been able to book him to replace other things that I learned may not have needed replacing in the first place. I look forward to having him continue to work on my older vehicle because I know he's knowledgeable and is not shy about sharing his car mechanic wisdom with me. I appreciate you, James!

Benji arrived early for our appointment.Good communication and fast service.Replacing the oil pressure sensor didn’t solve the issue as the warning light continues to come on but that’s no fault of Benji as there must be another issue with oil pressure warning other than a defective sensor.Will have Benji back for future repairs.
