Luis showed up on time (early on a Saturday) and got right to work. Took slightly longer than the hour originally estimated online before he arrived, but he showed me how discolored the power steering fluid was, and walked me through the process he was going through to replace it, so I thought the time spent was appropriate. I was impressed with the additional inspection he provided, not realizing he was going to do that. He pointed out a concern with my rear brake pads (which had been recently identified by my local dealer), and was not high-pressure at all to do the work immediately (he suggested it would be needed in the next few months). I was impressed overall with the process (this was my first time using YourMechanic) and Luis made me confident that the quality of the work he performed was comparable to what I would have gotten at my local dealer (in a lot less time, much more convenient, and $15 less than I'd been quoted by my dealer). I would be happy to have Luis work on my car again.

Simon is always patient and does repairs the right way. He has no problem working on "vintage" cars like mine that are 100% mechanical and 0% computer driven. It is increasingly hard to find mechanics who can service older cars, just like it is quite difficult finding replacement parts for such cars!
