Robert is five star. He called before he came to see if had any questions and to confirm that all was a go for my Mercedes 60 thousand mile check up on the following day... He arrived in a timely fashion and went right to work after he once again very thoroughly answered my questions about Your Mechanic, the company. I was buying an old Ford F-250 online and had Robert do an inspection of the truck on my behalf since I live in another state. Turned out the guy had made the truck seem a lot more functional and nice on eBay. Robert told be the real condition and saved me a lot of money. He was timley, friendly, and honest.

Robert made initial contact with me the day before the appointment to discuss the required repairs and why I thought that was what was needed. I described the symptoms and he suggested that we should also consider the possibility that additional repairs might be needed. Robert arrived ahead of schedule, introduced himself, and took my car for a very brief test ride to validate the symptoms I had provided. Within minutes after starting the repairs, Robert discovered a metal connector had broken and the repair costs were significantly reduced. Robert, subsequently returned to the parts store and purchased the actual parts needed saving me hundreds of dollars over what a similar repair would have cost me if I had gone to a name brand repair shop. Did I mention that Robert completed the necessary repairs in a hotel parking lot while I rested inside. This is my first experience with "yourmechanic.com." It will not be the last. Thank you Robert. Robert was fantastic. He was very thorough during our appointment; he discussed, and even showed me, the wear-and-tear on parts he replaced and offered helpful observations about the condition of my vehicle; he really made me feel like my car was in good hands. He did not push me in to additional repairs, as often happens when you visit a mechanic. Robert was 15 minutes early to my appointment, he was very well prepared for the timing belt change and did the job neatly and professionally. I would highly recommend him for any job. His technical ability and knowledge of the work was very impressive.
