The alternator is the component that charges the battery in your car. When you use electrical components in your car (stereo, lights, etc.), the battery loses power. I accidentally put engine oil in coolant reservoir, what should I do?

You should suck out the coolant reservoir since the oil will float on the water it will stay near the top. You can use a siphon to get oil or majority of oil out.

I had p2096 and 2196 codes. I replaced the upstream o2 sensor. The p2196 went off for a while but the 2096 remained.

The two codes indicate that the air fuel ratio in the engine is off. In your circumstance, the short and long term fuel trim values should be read and evaluated using a real time scan tool as that will help...
