My AC was no longer cold enough to be of use. Being old school, I believed it need "recharging." Jacob explained that unless there was a leak the coolant is viable as long as it lasts. He found the level a little low and "topped" it off, and lowered the price to that of a checkup. The AC is working much better now, and Jacob used a coolant that contains a dye that will reveal any slow leaks. So my car is better short term and long term.
