Further research on the serpentine belt in conjunction with knowing how my car drives has convinced me that this man is definitely a qualified and reliable mechanic. I totally recommend him, just don't keep him so busy that I can't book him as needed. By the way, the clutch cable was well replaced and I'm very please with how my car shifts gears now.
