It was my battery which was more than flat and i had not been able to jumpstart. He managed to rejumpstart it, waited to give it a charge enabling me to drive the car. He provided suggestions to avoid the problem next time (e.g. if I need to go out of town for an extended time.) He was very curteous too. A pro on all fronts.
