He did a great job and did it in a timely manner. After fixing what I thought was the problem based on the codes, he recommended what he thought was the root of the issue and quoted it. He did say I'd be alright for a while based on the work he did. Its discouraging to know you paid to repair your car and the root not be fixed but that was no fault of his. He is knowledgeable, prompt and upfront. A little advice on the overall experience, get a diagnosis through your mechanic instead of booking repairs based off the codes. That way you can refer back to the guarentee of work done through the service. That said, Jay was exceptional.

Carlos R. was incredible, everything that I have come to expect of the YourMechanic technicians. I was cancelled on 3 times this week by another tech, forced to rent a car and take unexpected costly Uber trips, had to take off 4 hours of work to be there on time for the previous appointments (was cancelled on last minute anyways), damaged integrity/trust with a project team at work and had to push a big deadline back, had a horrible experience (ongoing unfortunately) with communication from a service manager after 6 attempts to just get a chance to talk to someone (not even a call, but I get an email at 11PM with info I already had the night before my 7AM appointment??), and to top it off all of that happening BEFORE SOMEONE EVEN LOOKED AT MY VEHICLE a week later. Needless to say, my service ended up costing me well over 100% of what I willingly paid today for the quality work.. not exactly what they advertise at YourMechanic (professional, convenient, fair priced, timly, hassle free, honest). Carlos R. made a huge impact on me today and likely the only reason I'd even consider coming back, and likely for now he's all I'd even consider going to. Professional, communicative, skilled, quick, and an all around great guy. I sincerely hope that YourMechanic can right some wrongs from this week, but they're doing one thing very right and that's having Carlos R. Thank you sir for giving me a little hope when I can't even get a chance to talk to someone on the phone. You're doing everything right!

He was on time & completed the job within about 10-15 minutes. Not bad at all considering the extremely cold weather out. Will book all future service with him.
