This is the second five star review I am giving Caz Showalter.
The first five star review was after he came to my apartment to install a new fuel pump in my 1998 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. Read my previous review to learn of my excellent first experience with Caz.
The fuel pump failed 7 days after it was installed. The van died going up a hill in my apartment complex and never started again. I had to roll it backward into a parking place in a public area by the mailboxes. The apartment complex was not happy.
Caz's work carried a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty through yourmechanic.com, so I contacted them to begin the process to make a warranty claim. It took a few days, and some prodding of the people at yourmechanic.com, but soon Caz was back with a new fuel pump. He dropped my fuel tank and replaced the pump right there where it sat. Bad news, though. This pump was bad too. the vehicle would not start.
Caz ordered me a new pump, a different brand name, from his known reputable parts dealer, and was over the next day to install it. He rearranged his schedule to get me back on the road.
The pump continues to work well, and it is because of Caz's work ethic, sense of pride, and ability to troubleshoot problems.
