Q: Signal light not working

asked by on February 25, 2016

My left signal light is not working.

If only the left signal is not working, suspect a faulty bulb. If a replacement bulb does not fix the problem then the circuit is lacking either power or ground. In this case, electrical diagnosis will need to be performed. However, I suggest you try having the bulb replaced first. A professional, such as one from YourMechanic, can inspect your turn signals to make sure that the proper repairs are completed.

My brake pedal is rock hard and extremely hard to press to get the car to stop...what might be wrong with it?

My truck had a hard time starting after sitting for over 30 minutes every time I would start it. Now it dies after driving a bit.
A problem like this can be due to causes such as partially plugged fuel injectors, weaknesses in the ignition system, and possibly even low engine compression due to leaking valves or rings. Whether the vehicle does not start, starts and...
