Okay, the most come failure, believe it or not is the brake light switch. When the switch goes bad, it affects the gas pedal operation.

If you have a scan tool that can read output controls, then you can monitor voltage from zero throttle to wide open.

Well, we would need to figure out wiring circuits and use a volt/ohm meter to check power, ground and ohms when operating the pedal.
