Q: A/C blowing warm air

asked by on May 19, 2016

My car is blowing hot air out of the air conditioner. A mechanic told me that the compressor needs to be replaced. Do you agree with his assessment?

A failed compressor is just one of the many potential causes for your A/C being inoperative. It could be something as simple as low refrigerant level.

If you are questioning your mechanic, I suggest you get a second opinion. The team at YourMechanic is an excellent option to inspect your faulty AC system since we make house calls.
